Trinity Family,

In light of the guidelines issued yesterday by both the federal government and Dallas County officials, all activities at Trinity UMC are cancelled for the next two weeks. In two weeks time we will reassess if further closure is necessary.

We will still be broadcasting live on Facebook for the next two Sundays at 11:00 am. I will be postponing the scheduled sermon series and instead offering the message “Love in the Time of Coronavirus.” While the exact shape of our online service is still being determined, we will be taking live prayer requests during the hour. We can still come together to worship in time together, even if we can’t be in the same space together.

We are living in unprecedented times. We are all making it up as we go along. May God be with us and may the Holy Spirit open up new frontiers of ministry and outreach as we continue “to tell the old, old story of Jesus and his love.”
