Dear Trinity UMC Family,

I personally invite every member and constituent of Trinity UMC to support “A Covenant of Hope for the Future of the North Texas Conference.” In this Covenant all United Methodists of the North Texas Conference, both laity and clergy, are making a mutual commitment to be fully inclusive of all LGBTQ persons in the life and ministry of the North Texas Conference. 

The Covenent was conceived by a group of progressive North Texas clergy during a meeting on March 22. We decided that any statement we make should also include all our wonderful laypeople. I was very honored to be asked to write the text of the Covenent.

We are hoping to get as many signatures as possible between now and Annual Conference June 5-7.
