Becoming a Disciple

We all seek to live a life filled with love and purpose. A life lived in relationship with Christ brings aliveness, meaning, and hope. To begin the journey, we simply say yes to receiving the gift of God’s love for us. Then we continue to let God’s love grow in us as we begin learn about Jesus in his life and ministry. We strive to become more and more like him in the way he loved God and others. We let God’s transforming love change us from the inside out as we engage in spiritual practices alone and with others. We discover the spiritual gifts God has given us. We listen for God’s call upon our lives and we offer our gifts to others in love and service.

Reconciling Ministries
Reconciling-Ministries-LogoWe, as a small group, embrace “Open Hearts, Open Minds, Open Doors” as more than just a tagline.  We desire to move from passive non-exclusivity to active all-inclusiveness.  We believe that ALL people have sacred worth.  We are called to carry the Good News to ALL members of our community without regard to race, nationality, gender, ability, social status, or sexual orientation.  We hold that in such acceptance we will also allow members of our community who have felt constricted in their faith journey to more fully participate in a faith community.  We desire in that participation to transform our Church and world into the full expression of Christ’s inclusive love.
For more information or to join the group, contact Michael Wesley.

Micah 6:8

He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
