Dr. Margo Dillard serves as Trinity’s pianist/organist. She is also the Director of Traditional Music and Worship at First United Methodist Church, Lewisville, where she has served since 1981.

 

Margo has been the musical director or accompanist for several Greater Lewisville Community Theater productions. She has taught private piano in Lewisville and Denton since 1982. She has performed with the Women's Chorus of Dallas, the Lewisville Community Chorus, the Musical Feast, Flower Mound Community Chorus, the Lewisville Symphony, Poco Mas Players, and many schools, churches and organizations throughout the metroplex.  

 

Margo received a Bachelor of Music in organ performance from the University of Montevallo in Alabama, a Masters of Music in organ performance from Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, and a Ph.D. in organ pedagogy from the University of North Texas. She was the winner of the National Organ Competition of the Chicago Chapter of the American Guild of Organists in 1981 and an Angel Award from the Greater Lewisville Arts Council in 2004.  

 

She supports organizations that care for and protect the rights of Native Americans, wild and domestic animals, as well as wilderness areas and our National Parks. She is the pet mom of a cocker spaniel, a chihuahua, and two rescue cats. Margo is also a diehard fan of the University of Alabama football team. Roll Crimson Tide!
