A Great Time to Be Part of Trinity
From Pastor Betty
As I reflect on my time at Trinity United Methodist Church, I am filled with gratitude and excitement for all that God is doing among us.
One of the greatest joys has been welcoming nine new members into our Trinity family, along with the many visitors who continue to worship with us. Our online ministry is growing as well, giving us even more opportunities to share God’s love beyond the walls of our church.
I am also very excited about our Trinity Strong Capital Campaign. Our goal is to raise $33,000 within 12 months to pay off our existing church mortgage. I have been so encouraged by the commitment, enthusiasm, optimism, and creative ideas already coming from our congregation. Every gift matters, and every effort brings us one step closer to reaching our goal.
Looking ahead to next year, we will be offering new opportunities for spiritual gifts training, discipleship, and leadership development. My prayer is that Trinity will continue to be a place where each of us can discover our gifts, grow in our faith, and find meaningful ways to serve God and one another.
And, of course, I am excited about the holidays! On December 13, we will gather for a church potluck, Christmas ornament exchange, and dessert auction benefiting the Trinity Strong campaign. Everyone is invited to bring a wrapped or gift-bagged Christmas ornament to exchange—and we may even have a special surprise visitor!
Then on Christmas Eve, December 24 at 5:00 p.m., we will gather for our beautiful candlelight worship service as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ together.
More than anything, I am thankful to be part of the Trinity family. I am grateful for the warm welcome I have received and for the wonderful sense of family, belonging, fellowship, and love that exists here. It truly is a great time to be part of Trinity, and I am blessed to be here.
Please remember that I am always available for pastoral care, prayer, hospital or home visits, or simply someone to talk to. You may call or text me at 972-948-3131. It is an honor to walk alongside you and your loved ones.
I also encourage you to follow Trinity on Facebook and YouTube so you can stay connected with all that is happening in the life of our church.
My prayer for each of you is that you will feel God’s presence, experience God’s goodness, and always know that you have a place where you belong.
God bless you,
Pastor Betty
