    Last week, our focus was on connect and recommend.  I challenged everyone to connect with five new people this week.  Since we’re preparing the Times early this week, I’m penning my blog on Monday.  I haven’t had the chance to connect with five yet.   • You can help Louisiana Flooding!

    Special Offering for the Flooding in Louisiana Days of torrential rain inundated the state of Louisiana, beginning August 11. Flooding has impacted at least 40,000 homes, and about 30,000 people and 1,000 pets have been rescued from high water in homes and cars. At least 11 people are known to have died in the disaster. The United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) issued an emergency grant to the Louisiana Annual Conference, releasing 2,950 cleanup buckets to United Methodist churches in LaFayette [...] Read More »

    Trinity UMC Day of Service In remembrance of 9-11 communities all across America are being asked to do community service.  In response to this challenge Trinity is asking for donations of homemade cookies to be provided to our community First Responders.  Please bring homemade cookies(no store bought please) to church on 9-11 where we will package and then deliver them.  Please contact Marie James with any questions.
