    Humphrey is Room 26’s hamster. When he returns from Christmas break, the chairs and tables in the classroom are in different places.  (Sound familiar?) There is a new but very shy girl named Tabitha.  To Humphrey’s dismay there is now a new class pet, a frog named Og who is slimy, eats crickets, and doesn’t speak.  Humphrey’s life is turned upside down.  He’s trying to head in new directions to develop friendships and help the students adjust.     It is an exciting time at Trinity and Smith Elementary.  You are encouraged to help us in our partnership with Smith Elementary.  Whether that be tutoring, helping at the Smith Library, getting our church ready to welcome the children of Smith, or just praying for our local school we need your help!  With the great success of the Community Candlelight (over $1300 raised for Smith) and our ongoing relationships it is an exciting time to join in this partnership!
